movie review time

OK, it's movie review time!!

The day before, I watched House of Wax. Watched it for no other reason except the company. Anyway the show was super freaky can. Or maybe it was just me. I was the only one in the theatre who ever screamed in the show. After that one involuntary outburst, I clapped my hands over my mouth for the whole movie. Or what was left of it, anyway.

This just goes to show one thing. I am definitely a girl, yeah! I'm scared of horror and gore so don't mistake me for a guy just because i may seem abit de 'chor lor'. haa... I think I missed quite a chunk of the movie cuz, like, half the time i was so scared i didn't even dare to watch. Just sat that shivering and whimpering in fright and staring at the fingers covering my entire face. haha. and i'm not kidding.

You know, just by looking at the poster you can tell it's some really scary show. And after the movie started rolling i found out that it's by Wes Craven (director of the Scream series) and that was when it hit me that i didn't really wanna watch it. Cuz i remembered how 'Scream' and 'Scream 2' freaked the hell out of me. Haha and don't even ask me why i watched both episodes. I think i must have been outta my mind at that time. Or oddly masochistic. As it was, i think i watched scream (1 or 2 or both, can't remember) at the sec3 camp. At least watching them together with all your friends ain't that bad cuz you can all scream together and heighten the suspense even more! Plus, you won't feel like such a wimp cuz you ain't the only one screaming.

Which was exactly how I felt the day before.

And as usual (judging by his other movies) the way the victims were killed was reeeaaallly gross. It's damn sick. So i guess if you're the type who goes for gore it's right down your alley, yeah. I think i'm not really that type. I'm more of a sucker for comedies, action blockbusters and romance. Heh. Things like that.

Take for example the taped movie i watched just now. The title of the movie was 恋爱恒星 and obviously from the title you can tell that it's some sappy romance story. Heh spot on, man! It's basically about how nicholas tse (ok normally i don't realli like him all that much, but the plot is good so i jus put up wif the garage boy for awhile) and 林嘉欣 were involved in this mortal-ghost r/s lah... haha it was so touching that by the end of the movie i was sniffing *oops..*

Hehe anywayz i think right now there aren't that many good shows cuz the school hols aren't here yet. think end may and june is the season for good movies! I feel like watching Monster-in-Law.... *can't wait* who wanna watch wif me??
