If you are a true friend to someone, or if you truly love someone, then you will be happy when he or she is happy.

Seeing how happy my friend is now, I also feel very happy for her cuz I am truly glad to be able to witness that happiness =) And I wish that her happiness will last.. *hugz*

On the flip side, I have seen someone who felt jealousy after finding out that his friend had recently gotten attached when he himself was not.. Really makes me wonder u noe? I mean, even before I myself got attached, whenever I hear of friends getting attached I will only feel happy and excited for them, never jealousy nor envy.. *shakes head*

Anyway.. I think that positive reinforcement is definitely a much better motivator compared to negative comments.. There's always 2 sides to a coin.. Take for example, you can choose to compliment a person on the areas that he had done well in before giving some comments on how to improve. Or you can choose to focus only on the mistakes he had made. I'm sure everyone will agree that the first method is much more effective!

But it seems like its easier said than done.. Maybe it's just easier to criticise than to praise.. Ego perhaps? Dunno.. Or maybe due to errors in communication, the speaker didn't mean to sound condescending but the listener jus misinterpreted the message.. sad isn't it.. If only everyone can just learn the better way to motivate others.. haiz...
